FERFED BUSINESS CONSULT LIMITED/ANCHOR BUSINESS CONSULT ON GIZ MEP PROGRAMME
The year 2018 ended on a great note for us and 2019 kicked off with so much energy as we engaged Ghanaian youth in Accra and Tema in what was a series of training on Entrepreneurship, Financial literacy, and Taxation in Ghana.
This was in partnership with Anchor Business Consult on the Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit, -German Society for International Cooperation’s (GIZ) Migration and Employment Promotion (MEP) project which was carried out across the various regions in the country.
The exposure from this experience was worthwhile, giving us a better appreciation of the current business environment in Ghana and the seemingly potential solutions that entrepreneurs can explore. We hope to strengthen this relationship with the GIZ and continue to be a part of this great initiative. We are in a revolutionary time for entrepreneurship the world over, especially in Africa and we find ourselves most privileged to be a part of it.
The MEP project is an initiative that seeks to give immigrants moving back to their home countries a smooth reintegration into the local labour market and equip those with entrepreneurship capacities, the skills, and the resources they need to succeed. The project encourages sustainable economic development.
